What is Reiki?
Reiki is an ancient healing system, gently adapted for the modern world. My Western-style courses are rooted in the teachings of Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki, originating with Mikao Usui in Japan and carried to the West by Mrs Hawayo Takata. What has been passed down through generations is a beautifully simple yet powerful way to support balance and healing across mind, body and spirit.
In training with me, you will learn hands-on techniques for channelling energy, be guided through the meaning and use of the sacred Reiki symbols, and come to know the five Reiki principles as a daily practice, not just words to remember. You'll leave knowing how to offer Reiki to yourself and to others, with real confidence.
But Reiki offers more than physical healing. As you practise, many students find a growing spiritual awareness and a quiet, steady personal growth alongside it, a sense of coming home to yourself, one session at a time.
Why Train With Me?
Reiki training is everywhere now, a weekend, a certificate, a hashtag. What I offer is something slower and, I believe, something truer.
My own Reiki journey didn't begin as a career move. It began in 2015, in a moment when I needed calm and clarity more than I needed anything else. It deepened again in 2022, when life felt overwhelming, and Reiki became the thing that held me. I became a Reiki Master Teacher in November 2024, not as a final step, but as a continuation of a healing journey that is still unfolding for me now.
Since then, that journey has taken me into a hospice, sitting with patients and carers in some of life's most tender moments. It has taken me into work with the charity 2Wish, holding space for grieving families. And in 2025, it took me to Peru, where I spent a month living and training with the Paqos (the Inca shamans), deepening my understanding of energy, reciprocity, and our connection to the earth and eachother.
I share this not to impress you, but so you know what's underneath my teaching. When you train with me, you're not just learning hand positions and symbols. You're learning from someone who has sat with Reiki in grief, in stillness, in another culture's sacred traditions, and in the ordinary business of daily life and who is still, always, a student of energy healing herself.
What that means for you as a student:
A safe, open hearted space. I teach traditional Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki with care and precision, but I never ask you to leave your own beliefs, culture, or intuition at the door.

Reiki Level 1 Course Content
Reiki Level One is the foundational course, created for anyone who feels called to reconnect with their energy and bring more balance into their life. Over one day, you will be gently guided through simple theory and hands on practice in a calm, supportive space. You’ll learn self-treatment, treatments for others, energy exercises, the Reiki principles, and receive the Reiki attunements, along with an introduction to chakras and the aura. By the end of the day, you’ll feel supported and ready to integrate Reiki into your life, with a full training manual, a Level One certificate, and guidance on the 21-day clearing process.

Reiki Level 2 Course Content
Reiki Level Two builds on the foundation of Level One and is perfect for those who feel called to deepen their practice and become a Reiki practitioner. Over a full day, you will be gently guided through the first three sacred Reiki symbols, learning their meaning, uses and mantras, and practising how to draw and use them in hands on treatments and distance healing. Throughout the day, I will support you, helping you feel confident and grounded as you step into a deeper level of Reiki work. Level Two also supports you in working more intentionally with others, whether you wish to offer Reiki professionally or simply bring a deeper level of healing into your everyday life. The course honours the sacredness of the symbols and includes a detailed manual, a certificate upon completion, and ongoing support to help you continue your Reiki journey with confidence.

Reiki Energy Exchange
Experience the magic of shared energy at our monthly Reiki Share, a relaxed, heart-centred gathering held each month to support your ongoing growth and connection.
This is a beautiful chance to deepen your practice, meet fellow Reiki students, and enjoy both giving and receiving healing in a nurturing group setting.
With guided meditation, an engaging discussion topic, a Reiju blessing, and a Reiki exchange, you’ll leave feeling balanced, inspired and energised.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need any experience to start Reiki Level One? No experience at all is needed. Level One is designed for complete beginners and simply asks that you come with an open heart and mind, and a willingness to learn.
What's the difference between Level One and Level Two? Level One gives you the foundations - the history of Reiki, your first attunements, the Reiki principles, the energy body, self treatment and an introduction into treating others. Level Two builds on this, introducing the first three sacred Reiki symbols and deepening your ability to work with others, including distance healing.
How long until I can start practising on family and friends? I advise completing your full 21 day clearing process first. This is an important part of your own journey as it allows you to get to know your own energy body, notice where energy may be stagnant, and let that clear before you start working on others. Once you've moved through this process, you'll be ready to begin practising on loved ones with a much clearer sense of your own energy.
What is the 21-day clearing process? After your Level One attunement, you'll move through a gentle 21 day self Reiki period where your own energy has the chance to clear and settle, sometimes with physical, emotional or energetic release along the way. It's a normal and often really positive part of the Reiki journey. I ask students to complete this before practising on others, as it's an important way of getting to know your own energy first, where it flows freely, and where it may be a little stuck. In understanding this you can then hold a clearer, steadier space for the people you treat. I'll guide you through exactly what to expect.
Do I need to be spiritual or religious to learn Reiki? Not at all. Reiki isn't tied to any particular religion or belief system. It's simply a hands on practice of connecting with the universal life force energy (ki) for balance and healing, and it sits comfortably alongside whatever you already believe.
What's included in the course price? Your investment includes a full day of training, a detailed manual to keep, your Reiki attunements, a certificate on completion, and ongoing support afterwards, including access to my monthly Reiki Energy Exchange.
Can I train to become a professional Reiki practitioner? Yes, Level Two must be taken if a student would like to offer Reiki professionally, and it's taught to a standard that supports this, in line with my UK Reiki Federation membership and my ongoing work towards CNHC registration.
What is the Reiki Energy Exchange, and do I have to attend? It's a monthly gathering for anyone who is Reiki trained, at any level, to practise, connect, and keep deepening their Reiki journey. It's not compulsory, but most students find it a lovely way to stay supported after their course ends.
How many people are in each class? Classes are kept small and intimate on purpose, so you're never just a name on a list. This means real space for questions, individual attention, and a class that never feels rushed.
